faeroplane​:  loop-based Turkish chamber-disco

Faeroplane, the band forming around the solo electric project of Chris Faroe (The World Is Not Flat) debuted at the Sidewalk Cafe Antifolk Festival in New York in September, 2011. The new project combines Faroe's background in Turkish poetry translation with live sampling from stacks of old tube radios and record players, multiple loop pedals, layers of rhythm and pre-apocolyptic electric mischief. 

With an ever changing lineup, and never ending tour, Faeroplane is taking Faroe's geographical musical traditions to a new level.
